Two Hicks and a Chick combine powerful pipes and professional pickin' with three-part honky-tonk harmony! We especially enjoy gettin' the toes tappin’ at happy hours, on the patio, and during those otherwise weary weekday and weekend nights!
Ali & Joe
Ali and Joe are an acoustic cover song duo from Minneapolis formed by songwriters/performers, Ali Gray and Joe Beier. After 15 years of playing in bands together, Ali and Joe realized they should expand their pleasant stage chemistry to accommodate smaller, more intimate shows. With their subtilely humorous banter and a song list that spans many genres from Sinatra and Elvis to The Killers and The Cranberries, they are sure to entertain any audience. From casual restaurants to extravagant corporate events or weddings, Ali and Joe will keep any music lover happy and engaged all day or all night.
DRUNCH n. a late morning/early afternoon meal (Saturday/Sunday) at which hipsters and poseurs alike gather at a local hotspot in which they consume more alcohol than food, in an attempt to rid themselves of the previous night's hangover. THE BIG PICTURE. THE QUIET PITCH.
You found us! How did that happen?
We’ve never won a fancy award or received top honor as Band of the Century. We’re not really the types to go around tooting our own horns. Except for Joe. He plays saxophone sometimes. People always seem to cheer for sax solos.
We do have loads of musical background and diverse experiences. We are great friends. We’ve played together a long time and have a lot of love & respect for one another. We know quite a few songs. We enjoy sharing the stage, and believe it shows. We’re easy-going, but polished. Minnesota nice, with a dose of mischief.
Choosing a wedding or event band can be a big deal. We’re not here to say whether we’re the right fit for you. But some other good people have said some good things that might help you along.
